The plan was simple;
Divide and Conquer
But, the plan was backfired.
Hey guys.
In this post, I would love to share with you on our Malaysia Exhibition Day which was held last Friday, 15th November 2019. Honestly, it may look a little bit of a chaos, but it was indeed a success regardless lack of manpower 😛😛😛
Since there were only two of us, we thought of making it as simple as possible. luckily, our school does have a strict policy on cooking. So, we omitted the intial plan of cooking local cuisines, but we did give them MILO drinks and tidbitds like Kuih Cincin, Amplang and Dodol.
After we talked to our mentor, we decided to have 2 venues to avoid the event being too crowded. Then, we came up with the following tentative:

Looking good, ay? The pupils came to the exhibition at any times with their homeroom teacher. So it should be manageable, but it's not! My kolam-inspired activity was an epic fail! The sand was scattered all over the floor and the colours mixed with each other. Luckily, my mentor teacher's pupils helped me to clean up the place or else I would loose a hair or two! By the way, we substituted the coloured rice with coloured sand because we thought that it would be more practical and manageable, clearly I was wrong!
Not only that, my hands were literally burnt from making the hot drinks (MILO and Horlicks). Some of the kids even told their teacher that the drink was too bland (my fault for adding too much water😅😅😅😅). Either way, they kept coming for the drinks. So I guessed they still liked it? As for my joget dance, I remember only managed to do it twice; once with the Grade 5 and the other one was with one of the 2nd grade class. In my head, I would be teaching the teachers as well, but it didn't go as planned, sadly 😓😓😓😓
Finally, the Wayang Kulit show. Part of me was a bit unsatisfied with the show as it wasn't perfect as I wanted, but another part of me was delighted that the kids were brave enough to put up such performance despite of lack of practices. The audience was quite amazed with their show too! And most importantly, these kids felt happy with their performance. So, it wasn't that bad afterall 👍👍👍👍
That was some of the 'memorable' moments at my station. I wonder what happened to my partner since he did text me "Bila nak habis nieeee?" in the middle of the exhibition 😆😆😆😆
